It's a 3.5mm. I'd prefer an aux in direct to my stereo, but I don't have it. I'm actually using a Cassette adapter. Not the highest fidelity, but playing around with it today, the voice is quite clear (and much better/louder than the Moto H700 BT Headset I've been using).
I've got the microphone on the non-moving part of my steering column, and this seems to work pretty well. The microphone also has a button that will activate Voice Command, so I can initiate calls by voice that way as well.
Not too shabby for $7!
