OMG: opera 10 beta 2 is leaps and bounds better than beta 1. It seems much faster, latches onto text for easier one dimensional scrolling, has opera link (make sure to delete the beta 1 program files directory before installing beta 2), and has a filled out menu making usage much easier (downloads, start page, etc).
I put in the customer user agent string of
Opera/10.50 (Windows NT 6.1; U; en-GB) Presto/2.2.2
seemed to make it even faster.
