Re: [ROM] "RhoPazIo" by JD [111809] (WM6.5) {online}[SPCS]

Hi, I just got my new Sprint Touch Pro 2. I flashed to HardSPL as mentioned in this thread http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=93252.

HardSPL failed the first time around with "ERROR 260 CONNECTION" RUU error

HardSPL succeeded the second time around after I let the RUU sit for a while when the USB drivers were installed by Windows 7.

Then I downloaded JD's ROM and flashed it. Flash process was uneventful.

I also installed the patch by MightyMike and Mr.X for the tethering issue with Internet Sharing. This is all I have done so far.

I haven't installed any other software.

After I flashed last night I tried making calls and everything worked perfect. This morning I drove to work and tried making a call to my wife. The phone tried to dial and then quit giving me 2 beeps as if the call failed.

So I tried again. Same result.

Tried 10 different numbers in my phone book. Same result.

Tried Internet Sharing. Worked Perfect!

so did a soft reset. tried the above steps. Same result. Incoming calls worked perfect though.

so out of desperation I did a hard reset by holding the talk & end keys along with the power key and then pressing the volume up button.

Voila! Everything worked and things were hunky dory!

10 hours later, I drive back home. Same symptoms as in the morning. Every call I try to place fails. Incoming calls work though.

I'm puzzled. Can someone please help me out here? My laptop from which I do all the flashing is a Windows 7 64-bit machine with 4GB RAM and 250GB HDD and an Intel Core2Duo processor. I use WM Device Center 6.1

I tried to search the forum for anyone having similar problems and I couldn't find any relevant posts. (Maybe I suck at search key words)

I would really appreciate some help because I'm loving this ROM and really would prefer to not have to go back to the Stock ROM.

Thanks in advance!

Update: I tried to go in to the Radio/Network settings and changed the mode to CDMA Networks Only from Global. It didn't seem to help at all. Every symptom that I mentioned remains. I'm not doing a hard reset so that I will be able to test out stuff in case anyone wants further tests done with my device in this state.
