A "1" is what happens in the registry when the cable is plugged in....I know this because I watched the registry value change when the cable was inserted...I even changed it when the cable wasn't plugged in and low and behold the TV-out display popped up on my device but that didnt mean it was going to work and it didn't...So we are all still waiting. I believe it may be a driver issue but not too sure. I thoroughly searched the registry and there weren't too many value for tv-out.
