Many ppl are having this issue. I don't see why it happens to some and doesn't others. Did you select "all messages" and check them in the WM messaging? Mine has never done this but I see 1 or 2 posts a day stating this same issue. Sometimes when you get more than one text from 2 or more ppl around the same time, you don't realize it and one remains unopen. If you select "all messages" and open all conversations in WM messaging it should dismiss the notification. If not, there are a few other posts on here that have addressed the issue.
