That's fine. But let's not call the TP2 ChipSet suddenly defective (As some threads try to indicate). The "low resolution polling" has not changed.
But seriously. Walking along and getting an update every 8 feet isn't fast enough?
I'm just trying to seperate the "Nit Picky" folks from "Total Lost Newbie" folks and I think they are blurred together. And most newbies will be plenty happy with the "normal" update rate. I have never seen it mentioned as a problem since the mogul. Perhaps it started in the TP forums and their are more nit picky users there.
I never even bothered to look how fast iGuidance was working on any phone until now, because it just seemed to work fine.
If folks have set things up correctly and say TP works can TP2 doesn't all I can think of it's the real estate of the screen and perhaps even video drivers and the Nav application itself that is showing more the difference than the GPS update rate which has not changed.
