Hard reset:

1. remove battery
2. replace battery making sure phone stays off
3. press and hold the send and end call buttons
4. while holding the above buttons press and hold power until the bootloader screen flashes
5. press volume up to hard reset
   
   removing the battery is an extra step but eliminates issues with psshutdownxp grabbing the press and hold of the power button on this rom
