I don't know, I was on modaco and haven't gotten close w fresh. It happened stock too. I think it was around 110 including Sprint apps. It sucks BTW! I haven't tried w a2sd2 bc I don't use it, but thy may help?

Nah, Modaco AFAIK, is built with apps2sd set on default. :/
