Bzzzt. I just reread your post. That is NOT how you setup GPSGate.

You are running through TWO COM port emulators and it WILL give you lag.

See my post above. You configured GPSGate to use the EMULATED crap that WM mobile provides and COM4 is the COM port it defaults to.

There is NO COM Port for the actual GPS.

You want GPSGate Input to use "WM GPS" NOT COM4. Not any com port.
That is the Windows Mobile API.
You want your output to be a free "Virtual COM" port (e.g. COM3).

You want Google Maps to use "Windows Managed" that is the Windows Mobile API (no COM port emulation).

Then configure iGuidance, TomTom etc. to use COM3.

GPSGate knows how to emulate the com port, Window Mobile doesn't.
