- Do a clean restore using stock RUU
- Do the sprint update
- Do not install any apps and use it for a few hours (unplugged!) and I guarantee you that you won't have 100% uptime.
- Once you have confirmed it's working, install your apps in groups at a time until you figure out which one is causing your problem.

Note:
- If you are plugged in then it won't sleep
- When you restart your phone it resets the % timer so it will always start at 100%
- When your phone boot up for the first time it won't start sleeping until you wake it up and then put it to sleep again.
I have been trying to trace down this problem for the last week. I guarantee you that its a bug. I don't install any extra apps and this happens. I performed a hard reset, sync gmail and HTC mail (exchange), and log into facebook. Within 1 day, the phone is back to 100% awake time. Someone said they cleared HTC mail and this fixed the problem, but it doesn't. I have tried clearing both gmail and HTC mail, soft reseting, and it still stays has the 100% awake time. I have also gone into application management and cleared the apps one at a time, reset, and checked awake time. The phone was still had the 100% awake issue. This also happened before the MR also because I used Handcent Sms.

I am glad I am not the only one having this issue. I have installed spare parts to view partial awake time, I don't this helps in my case because if you view the partial awake times, it doesn't add up to the time the phones been awake for. I think the partial awake time status works after the phone goes to sleep, then when the phone wakes up for an app, it records the time.

Someone here said it happened when just being logged into gmail. Has anyone had this awake problem while only using HTC mail? Has anyone had this issue without syncing to gmail and HTC mail?

I am tempted to do another hard reset and sync one mail client at a time to see if one of the mail clients is causing the issue.

This issue seems to happen after the phone is charged overnight (this could just be a coincidence). Is that what everyone else is experiencing?
