One other note here, it took me a while to understand the new "close page" mechanism, which requires a double-tap. The initial tap seems to just activate the close button (i.e. it becomes larger), needing a second tap to actually close a tab.

Yeah the new tabbed browsing look and function is pretty awesome, especially the home page, EXCEPT for the
'default' BBC and Wiki tabs that I don't think you can do anything about
I still uninstalled Opera 10beta this week though... a little "too beta" for my liking;
NO PAGE would load the first time I directed the browser to it, I was incessantly hitting "refresh," which was annoyong and counterproductive. Aside from the look and feel, I really didn't notice much of a true tangible change, advantage, or increase in overall performance compares to the 9-series Opera Mobile releases. Once Opera-10 hits RC, or a 1st Stable Release, I will look into it.

how on earth do you close it to background (not exit it all the way)? Opera-9's was much easier to close, you tapped the screen and it went from full screen, to show your Windows Mobile top-bar, where you could "X" it out, and later go right back to it through the drop-down task manager in the upper right hand corner of the phone. With Opera-10 all I saw was an "Exit" icon.
