WOW Thanks for this post. I was freaking out for days trying to find a real solution. I tried everything I even tried the Uni_boot_unlocker, but This sequence saved me!! THANKS A MILLION. I thought I would be forced to upgrade to the 6800 and was dreading having to do that without a real kitchen.

I recently had a problem with my verizon xv6700 where it wouldn't turn on. I could get into bootloader, and the hard reset menu, but as soon as i reset it, it did nothing. 1. I uninstalled the device using Device manager in Windows.
2. I reinstalled using the Vista RUU files.
3. I set it up in bootloader mode.
4. At this point i tried to load one of Helmi's roms unsuccessfully.(error 101 connection error)
5. Now my device was stuck in bootloader(usually a bad thing, but was this time a very good thing!)
6. I used a bootloader unlock tool(uni_bootloader_exit)
7. I then did a hard reset (reset button + 2soft keys)
8. I tried the same Helmi Rom and it worked!!

I don't know if this was a counidence, but i don't think i'm going to attemt to brick it again. Try this, revise this, just thought i'd share my luck.
