I do not get a screen alignment page setup anymore on first boot. It simply skips it. Is this normal now?

Also, if using HTC messaging app cooked in, if you go to the sms tab on manila 2.1.x and click on all messages, when clicking on one of the txt messages it brings up a different sms ui, I believe its the manila txt ui, and when sending it does not log the text. (You cannot see what you typed after typing and sending it) But the text goes out. Does anyone have a fix for this?
