He's looking to remove the soft keys altogether, I think. Google nuenobar and look at what it does.
I looked at post 4 to see if it would do what he wanted, but I didn't see anything about a transparent bottom bar, although I have been known to suck at finding things. However, I did find a typo in question 3....
