For some reason the kaiser roms have to have a compatible radio or they exhibit known sound problems. Some roms work better with older radios some better with newer. Every 6.5 rom I've used has worked well with 1.70.xxx radio or higher

how about battery on 1.70 and 1.71, it is same with previous??
