if you like to play and create custom skins, get rlToday (my personal favorite today app)
if you only like to skin but dont want to create skins yourself get phonealarm (not free tho)
the easiest user friendly no playing involved would be PhoneSuite from Spb (also not free)
Also HTC Home Plugin (several versions on every phone forum) is free and does some great stuff too!
