I was having problems too (which let to sprint replacing the unit). Turned out that if you use the "my ISP" settings to anything other than Sprint Data (ie. auto pick, Phone as modem, Sprint APN) it didn't work. Once I set it back to sprint data, and soft restart, all worked fine.
