Ah yes, the messages.EN.cab message
What it's saying is that the application threw an unhandled error, and it can't display that error to you as you don't have the messages cab installed. Basically, the developer of that software didn't test enough
There is nothing wrong with your phone, and you have the full .NET 3.5, the app just doesn't work. Only developers (like me) actually install the messages cab so we can see these error messages during testing.
