In the time that this thread has been going, I have ordered (and received) via amazon retailers about 3 cases:

a metallic blue one (hardcase)
a black rubberized one
a clear one.

cost: $10.95 (excluding shipping)
total cost: $16.95 (including shipping)

The rubberized case is great, thin and doesn't occlude any buttons
the blue metalic hard is great, snaps right on, still fits in my side holster, doesn't occlude any buttons
the clear one, has to be my favorite. Completely clear, doesn't at all get in the way, only complaint is that it picks up smudges easily.
I'm waiting on the smoke-colored case so far.

yeah, Seidio is worth the wait.
