Since flashing Juicy R3 I have never once had to use the hardware reset button. I was running Mighty before which as everyone knows is fast & 100% stable. R3 has its disadvantages of course, some people cannot live with the lack of landscape in a 2.5 ROM & I had a terrible time getting MMS to work (works fine now) but I am still running R3 & I can't even remember the last time my system froze up.
I love the features of manila 2.5 and would have a really hard time going back to manila 2.1 at this point. A good example is the weather on the home screen. When I am at work, it can really be awesome to just glance at the home screen & know what the weather is doing outside without having to go to another screen or update etc..
When I first flashed to Mighty that's what I THOUGHT I was getting. It took me about a week to figure out that the weather in manila 2.1 only updates every 3 hours (& there is no way to change that) so it is basically worthless.
In Juicy ROM's 2.5 setup, I have the weather set to update every 15 minutes & it works perfectly. I thought this might totally kill my battery life, but that has not happened at all. I carry a spare battery with me, but I have never had to use it once.
