Since your ROM is based on 2.09 it is affected by the same bug that the Sprint 2.09 ROM had. You will need to replace the keybddr.dll file with an updated one. If you search this forum for that file name I believe someone posted a cab file with the updated driver in it.
Or, you can hack your bootloader and load a custom ROM that already has that file fixed in it.
