Sorry should have specified more. I did a full backup. Then installed Card Export II and WM5torage to play with. After I was done I restored using the EXE and it soft reset. I thought that it would restore to the point before CEII and WM5torage was installed, but it didn't. It could be like you say and just need to hard reset then run the EXE. I'll give it a try.
