I've got a tp2 with stock rom & the latest Google Maps loaded up. I usually leave my phone on a table and not carry it in my pocket (rules out inadvertent press of buttons).

In the last several days, I'll return to my phone, turn it on and find google maps staring at me, with gps tracking on. After a few times of this happening, it was irritating enough for me to remove the app and reload. still no luck.

now my phone dies at all times since i'm guessing, gm pops on and drains the battery. i'm out of ideas...any help would be appreciated!
