Two questions....you mention the programs were there before the backup....do you mean they were NOT there before backup? Secondly....did you do a hard-reset BEFORE you ran the backup file? I am not sure what happens if you don't do a hard reset first, but the backup file is made to start from a clean slate. I think if you run it, you wind up over-writing whatever is there, and possibly duplicating. Plus.....if the apps are installed on your card they will still be there until you uninstall them....you just may have trouble running them from the program menu on the device.
