OK...So I called Verizone and they told me they had a solution...it didn't work.
The suggestion from them was to set the phone to CDMA only (Not Global). No change in the problem. The Current Country setting is on the CDMA Services tab in the phone settings, so setting to CDMA only doesn't seem to make sense anyway. If anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears.
