The transparent slide actually came with the custom rom I am using: EnergyRom with Manila 2.1.
I haven't tried this, but here is a transparent slider: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=97345
I think it is the transparent slider used in my rom because the mode9 fix from that thread worked in my rom!
