Wallpaper in 2.5 question

I am running Juicy R3 with the Dusk theme

The WP in this screen shot is the default WP for the Dusk theme & shows on all pages.

I was playing with other WP's a few days ago & I don't quite get how the 2.5 setup works.

If I go to switch WP, there are two options under home tab wallpaper. One says "Weather wallpaper" & the other says "Animated wallpaper"

I'm not sure what the difference is in these two options. If I go to the animated WP choice there are three ugly choices shown there & if I choose any of them the system goes into a loop refusing to load sense & I have to run a restore to get it running again. What is an "animated WP" anyway??

If I choose Weather WP, it shows the "my wallpaper" folder which I have a bunch of custom WP's in. If I select any of those selections, it changes only the home WP -all the other tabs stay with that default Dusk WP. At that point, I cannot figure out any way to return to the default Dusk WP.

When I decided I wanted it back on the default WP I had to do an SPB BU restore to get it back. How do you select the default WP in manila 2.5??

I tried installing the BG4all cab & that worked fine (when I select from my wallpapers it shows the selection in all tabs) but it made the home screen weather take over twice as long to run so I don't think I'll be using that.
