about google checkout... that's possible maybe. google does keep info forever so maybe i used google checkout and, later, after i moved, when i signed up for gmail, it linked the old address. hmm.. might have to rule this out too tho cause i just remembered that i paid for evernote using google checkout with my new address just last week but my new address isn't listed in the google maps app on my phone. (sorry for the long explanation.. thinking outloud.. hehe)

the other curious thing... i haven't really played around with this app on my phone cause I'm so weirded out, but i have typed in a few addresses. how come those never "stick"? i mean, whenever i go to menu -> get directions -> end point, all i ever see is:

enter an address
select point on map
select a favorite
MY OLD ADDRESS

and nothing else is ever listed.
