I was trying to use the instructions on www.theunlockr.com to root my phone and I could never get my XP computer to recognize the ADB files. I'm using a computer from work and I don't had admin rights, so I'm wondering if that could be my problem. I never can get the phone serial number to show in the cmd prompt screen. |
Use the video method that athlet1c posted. Most of this actually comes from the SD card, so no permissions needed. It works, but you will need to flash to Fresh after its all done and you have backed up with nandroid. Fresh .4 has the update and it is working great.
