I tried the Note to Self option it does the same thing. You can use Google Voice as a work around if you have it. Send the sms to your GV # and it will be forwarded to your phone. I haven't tried it but it might work.
OK, I just signed up for a GV account.

Is there a way to send an SMS through GV to myself at a specific time??
