I was using my screen as the flashlight until I found this program. The program uses the Flash LED on the back of the phone.
Its great, when you install it it puts three programs in your programs folder.
Flashlight = Run to turn on - Run again to turn off
Flashlight 30 = Turn on the light for 30 seconds
Flashlight 60 = Turn on the light for 60 seconds.
I tied mine into the Comm Manager button on the side of my phone (because the icon reminds me of a flashlight). Originally I had it set to just flashlight, but I think my battery was getting run down because I would holster my phone and accidently push the button. So now, I have the button set to flashlight 30. Only drawback to flashlight 30 is that it doesnt turn it off if you push it again, so you have to let it run for the full 30, or go into programs and run flashlight to shut it off.
Personally, I love it.
