In garmin XT go to settings->System->Remote GPS->Disable (bottom right corner)
This should bring up a list of com ports, choose 4.
As well make sure you have run QuickGPS and your data connection is on.

I've tried all those, but still the problem persists. I don't know what the difference is between this rom and other roms I've flashed. It's mind buggling right now......
