So far no lock ups and well bluetooth still does not work and neither do the alarms but at least it's stable. IMHO 2.17 is crap don't waste your time. Sprint really has to get it together with this one because this is annoying to say the least! |
I have the same BT as you do and I couldn't be happier! The only gripe that I have is that the memory leak is still there but not as bad. I have several SPB apps, cube, and some other 3rd party goodies and all work great! I don't know if it helps, but this is the procedure that I followed to upgrade:
1.) Completed full upgrade and let the phone do it's thing with the Sprint extras install.
2.) Once completed, I did a hard reset on the device (pressing both soft keys and then reset).
3.) When the device started for the first time after the hard reset, I skipped the Sprint goodies install this time.
4.) Installed everything and set up Exchange.
This thing runs great now. I live in a 1X area with no roaming to speak of so I wouldn't know about the switching issues. No lock ups and the phone finally works normally!
