Make sure you do what rstoyguy says to do in posts 3 and 4 of this thread.
Also, after you do the reg edits save and exit your reg editor. Then wait a min or two. Then if you have one, use a software soft reset to soft reset. Then after you boot up check and make sure the edits stuck.
