Wink fresh install of Google Maps on new phone - magic?

I hope I make sense cause I'm in disbelief at the moment...

I bought a used Touch Pro -- but new to me -- from someone a few days ago in Indiana. I installed Google Maps and, the first time I use it, I immediately see an aerial view map of my OLD address in California. When I go to get directions, my OLD address is already listed!

I am thinking of how in the world Google Maps has that address already in this application?! I never typed it in cause it's the first time I've used this app on this phone!

I've never even typed that address into my phone AT ALL.

So, I think, maybe I logged into my google account automatically and maps is grabbing my gmail signup info? Or info from somewhere else is automatically input into Maps?! I haven't used or thought of that address in several years! (I did search around a bit to see if there was an answer but maybe I'm not using the right search terms.) It's creepy. Anyone have an idea?

I also opened and used Sprint Navigation (another map app) and it didn't have my old address.
