What happens if you hard reset the phone, don't install any 3rd party and then let it sleep and call/text to it? Does it work fine then? 3rd party apps that you may have installed might be causing the problem. Try taking the phone back to default and give it an extensive testing. Ex, let it sleep for 5min, try to call and text it. Then wait 30 min, then 1hr, 2hr 3hr, etc.
