I myself use Oxios Memory in combination with WA2 to keep my Program memory under check & no App can run without me knowing it using WA2, unlike if you didn't have it & you had to open your settings>memory to find out.
All you need is Quick Menu. It does everything you just described. Incredibly stable program with a small footprint...plus it's free. It replaces the start icon so when you click it there is a full cascading menu. It also puts a battery/ram monitor in the top bar and it has a task manager built into the cascading menu. The kicker is that the actual word "Start" is still my original WM6 menu. Clicking on the icon will open up Quick Menu. So it's really like having two Start menus in one. Or if you want you can set a tap to Quick Menu and a tap & hold to the original WM6 Menu. You can also set which programs you want on the menu, OK to close apps, etc.

IMO, it's a must have. It has the best features of several other programs and it hardly takes up any room.

The 1st pic is the standard WM6 menu. Notice how it's highlighted.

The 2nd & 3rd pics are of Quick Menu.
