I searched for the ACE method and it's basically the same as the one I posted. And like that one those values are not in that registry folder:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing
there are entries "Value Name: Extension" and "Value Data: InternetSharingEx.dll"
All you have to do is blank out the Value Data. Remove the field, InternetSharingEx.dll. After that, reboot the phone.
Like the Diamond hack basically but the values are not in that registry folder on the Intrepid. Only value in that registry folder is MaxConnect or whatever it's called. Did Sprint give up or did they get smart and move the values?
I only use tethering maybe 1 a month for a couple of hours if that. Not going to pay $60 a month for an air card and I don't even believe they offer the PAM plan anymore. Not that I would pay $15 a month for a couple hours either.
