Mr. Conner, Verizon Wireless neither publishes nor develops software. However, when an update is made for the operating systems on our devices, our Research and Development team does testing on those systems. This is done to make sure that if or when we launch them, that the Operating System does everything that the developers say it does and so we can confirm that it has no negative effect on your services with us. This also keeps you from having to go back in and download revisions to faulty software that's not properly tested and approved. At this time, of course there still isn't an update for your device but should one come available, you'll find it on our website; support.vzw.com/phones. I also called them and they said pretty much the same thing saying if it ain't broke don't fix it and be patient.
