The more I think about this, the worse of an idea it seems, actually.

I wrote the first tutorial on flashing an HTC Titan. That phone is 2 generations old, and people STILL are flashing it. I have people reading threads and fixes/questions I wrote years ago. Plus, most users here do not keep a rom for 6 months... especially the type that are posting about having problems.
Heck my sig still lists my old blog that I barely write for (now I write for mopocket.com), and everytime I see it I think- hey, I should update that. You really think people who are too lazy to explain their problems in the thread title or body will keep their sigs up to date?

I think most would find it very helpful. I see it used in other forums for other toys as well.

For what? Cars? Stereos? Laptops? Even carriers and phone models last longer than ROMs. Just my opinion, but with the sheer number of ROMs and the way many of the folks here go through them like toilet paper (some guys flash more than one in the same day), it just seems like something that will never catch on.
If *you* wanted to do that, by all means go for it- you'll probably make sure to keep it up to date and therefore it will be effective. But I've been around this scene long enough to just don't see it becoming an accepted practice round these parts.
