Hi ala. These are not the eaxct words, but someone posted in one of these threads, maybe even be this one, that they (the poster) contacted HTC and was told by HTC that the phone freezing/locking up at 30% was an intentional move by HTC to conserve the battery when it was low.

I think it's horrible that freezing or locking up a phone to make it useless without soft resetting is a ridiculous business decision. If what HTC said is true, I hope the *cough* genius who came up with this idea has whatever HTC device he/she uses suffer from the same crap we have to go thru.

The main reason I wanted the Touch was due to all the problems I experienced with the Mogul.

I am starting to think that the problems we are having is not the phone, per se, but HTC making faulty devices. I mean, think of it, first the Mogul, now this phone; both made by HTC and both having the same problem.

The Touch is the LAST HTC phone I will ever own.
