O.k. I've searched and read all over the forums, so spare me the "we told you to put on a screen protector." I was cleaning my bare screen with a microfiber cloth the other day, a piece of dust or something got in there and scratch! Long thin line down the screen. Almost imperceptible, but distorting the picture just enough to drive me nuts. I've read all bunch of suggestions from bananas and toothpaste to plastic polishes such a novus. I'm leaning toward trying novus polish, but would like to hear from anybody who's tried it or something similar on their TP2 or other resistive touch screen to know if it really works, or will destroy my device. Thanks!
Lol, same thing happened to me. I always carry a microfiber cloth to clean my screen, and I guess something got in there and made a nice thin scratch which isn't noticeable until the creen is on. It's not bad, but noticeable. Don't know how to fix it though. I don't want to use toothpaste as it would be the same as a high-grit sandpaper. I'm just going to deal with it.
