Re: Looking for a cab builder for Vista

This may sound stupid and you may already know this, but make sure your Vista install is fully up to date. When you run the updater, make sure you select custom install instead of automatic updates, so you get to see all the updates available. Auto update doesn't always install everything. And redd214 is right, do you have any more additional info about what it says you need to install/downloads. And if you are trying to import an .inf file to build the cab with, wince cab manager will not work. You have to purchase the software to use that feature. Hope that helps.
