Curious, I have also flashed this radio to my VZW TP2 without any of the issues you note...were there any other installations you did around the same time, any custom task bars, any custom ROM's?
As a first step I would try and flash back to stock radio, test the device, then reflash the USC 2.05 radio...
This radio does work on the VZW TP2, I have it running now on mine.
