Re: Can someone sum up how to fix video playback on the Touch Pro2?

No trial version that I can see...

Ultimately, HTC screwed up with the TP2. The drivers are wrong or disabled or there's some kind of licensing problem with the CPU maker. Either way HTC f'ed us. I'm kind of used this sort of thing so it doesn't even make me mad anymore. I take it for granted that I have to put in some time to make crap work. I could have gotten a iphone and had everything work out of the box but I wanted a PPC and the freedom to control how my machine worked. I pay the price for that.

In any event, either HTC or qualcomm got cheap and the result is that the device has very conditional hardware acceleration.

Coreplayer found a way around the problem... and they'll sell it to you for a price.

You could try an "unofficial" demo of their product but that's between you and your internet connection.
