Back to the cnbc app for the iphone, in the help area is ask which system you're on, iphone, blackberry or verizon. It appears that there may be a variant that'll work on the verizon system. I'm going to followup with both cnbc and verizon to figure this out.

I sure do like the iphone but darn, what they say about spotty reception isn't just a thing of the past.
