Re: [ROM]11|11|09[alpha] psyklone 0.15 Custom Manila 2.1 (21874) pm 4 private test
I was finally able to load the 0.15 version on my Sprint TP. Beautiful ROM! Love the look! Couple of things I noticed:
1. ActiveSync comes up when rebooting?
2. I usually use the dcibattery.cab that shows the line with the battery and the line with the memory. Not that I have to watch memory much at all on the Sprint version of the TP, but I do like that ability. I loaded dcibattery and I now I get the memory indicator but no battery at the top. I assume the battery gauge is conflicting with dcibattery. How do I disable the one that is cooked in?
3. I was surprised to see no Windows MarketPlace cooked in since everything else seems to be in here. No biggie...installed from a cab and works great.
4. Noticed the backspace/delete button is missing on the dialer, but if I click in the area where it is supposed to be, it works. Again no biggie...
5. Could we have the option of Roaming Only in the Phone options? I know I could regedit it in, but it would be nice to be cooked in.
6. Same thing goes with the mode of operation to force 1X.
7. I had a weird "locking" of the messaging app after I setup my exchange server. When hit Finish after putting in all my settings it put my back to the account picker screen on the options. It would not let me press the check mark at the top right. I thought it was because it was pulling my email down, but I let it sit for 15 minutes until I did a soft reset to fix it.
8. I'm not sure if this is due to my Sashimi script loading the dcd carrier cab, but I tried out the WifiRouter and it says my internet connection isn't setup. I don't use the WifiRouter since I like to tether via USB since it charges.
Just a few minor things... excellent work! I really like this ROM so far. Now if I could figure out how to get finger scrolling in PIE that would be awesome, but I haven't seen many ROMs with it since everyone seems to use Opera or the new IE. I like having PIE for the websites meant for it (hate zooming) and use Opera for others. The best of both worlds.
