Sorry, brah, no go. As of yet there is no panoramic mod for Manila 2.5. I'm sure people are working on it, but it is slightly more complicated than picking and image for the wallpaper... I'll try to explain the three background philosophies:
1. Customizable home screen background
-a. You select the wallpaper you want to use (i.e. grass.jpg)
-b. Phone puts wallpaper on Manila home tab ONLY
-c. Allows easier viewing of content on other tabs, such as calendar, weather, etc., as other tabs have solid black background
-d. Is usually default for all manila (i.e. stock ROMS, new custom ROMs like manila 2.5)
2. Customizable all tabs background
-a. You select the wallpaper you want to use (i.e. grass.jpg)
-b. Wallpaper is set and stays as background when you scroll through all tabs.
-c. Allows for nice custom look with little work.
-d. Usually requires that bg4AllTabs mod be installed in some variant
3. Customizable panoramic wallpaper
-a. You install the needed manila files to change your panoramic wallpaper in one of two ways:
---i. Find a .cab file that someone has created that will install the manila files
---ii. Copy the three or six panoramic xxxxxxx_manila files to \Windows and reboot device
-b. Wallpaper scrolls across the panorama while you scroll through manila tabs
-c. Looks SWEET, especially with half-transparent wallpapers
-d. Requires the Panoramic V2b mod from mwalt to be installed, which has not yet been ported to Manila 2.5
I hope that explains it for ya. Just put on my rom, you won't regret it.
I tested all of the panoramic cabs last night, and was able to quickly install each cab and get instant results without rebooting each time (I think I had to reboot like twice through installing 60ish pano cabs). I probably should have put screenshots with them, but they're so easy to install if you have the pano mod, I figured the surprise would be nice!
