For stable ROMS I Flash from the SDcard. With these experimental ROMS I flash from the computer. I leave a back up copy of 10/14 RAPH on my SD Card, so that if I get stuck in the endless reboot loop, I can just reflash from the card, and restart. For me it works. I have everything saved in Sashimi. I use this phone every day and can't afford to be without it. So if a ROM loads wrong or anything, and I gotta go back to work, it only takes about 15 minutes to reset the phone. Works out well, cuz I can set it to reflash, then Hard reset once, and it will reinstall, reboot, then run sashimi all while I am driving to work. by the time I get to work, its all back to normal.
