Windows is a big folder and takes time to load. If your PC isn't all that fast, it'll take awhile. Have you tried giving it a couple of minutes? My overclocked Core2 duo takes about 20 seconds to list the contents. Most of that delay is probably the phone's weak CPU trying to send that information.
